Hi there,

the DCPs for the new Jarmusch film "The Dead don't die" that we received here in Germany are F-178 which is annoying as hell.

Was it the same in the US?

We ran this last Thursday. It's indeed 1.78.

I haven't personally run this, but according to info received
from the company handling US distribution, the CPL sez it's 1:78:

DeadDontDie_FTR-3_F-178_EN-EN-CCAP...etc, etc

And on the data sheet packed with the DCP is this note:

On a somewhat related topic, I've noticed in increase in new titles
being released in 1:66. The most recent one I can think of is "The
Last Black Man In San Francisco" which I ran at a press screening
several weeks ago.
