Compared to the rest of the crap out there, I didn't think it was that bad. Not that it was great or anything.

Think.. Cliffhanger on ice...'Nuf said.
Niether were great, but neither were *terrible* either. 2k has been a year FULL of crap product, IMO. Charlie's Angels, Unbreakable, Dude - Where's My Car are among the lateest to be thrown to the turd pile..
YMMV,

After the first scene of this movie, I thought to myself "If I were the type of person who walked out of movies, I'd walk out right now!"

After having an incredibly sharp Columbia title on Charlie's Angels, their very next film has the worst Columbia title I think I have seen since my 16mm print of Force 10 From Naverone! The whole film is soft and wishy washy. I noticed one scene where someone throws away a film canister of Kodak MAX...I hope Kodak didn't take the credit for the poor quality of the print.
...and I will join the legions asking the same question...WHY ON EARTH IS THIS FILM IN FLAT?
Makes sense...Charlies Angels with its not incredibly vista-esque scenery = Scope...Vertical Limit with its multitude of panoramic shots of the mountains = Flat.
Uh...huh...
