I just finished screening this; it was pretty entertaining. Interesting choices of music put in, I'm glad I didn't have to watch this in a theater full of screaming kids! I've never seen the TV show, though I know it's on the one station here that shows afternoon cartoons with NO annoying network or station logos on the screen so I may have to check it out.
Anyone notice this has transparent changeover cues on reels 1-3? Reel 4 has the normal black ones.

Well, I'm 32 and I plan on watching this movie! I'm a kid at heart (and often act like one).

I'll post a review in this thread after I see it (probably this weekend).

As promised, a review:

Attendance: 2001/02/18 21:30

Regal Hollywood 18, Huntsville, AL, Auditorium 18, 40' auditorium, 30' screen in flat mode, movable side masking present. Flat film.

I went into this movie not expecting much, but overall, I was quite impressed by the movie and enjoyed it. It is a good movie for school-aged children, because the story deals with two issues that children can identify with: doing away with recess and doing away with summer vacation. Sadly, recess was dropped from many schools years ago, and where I currently live, summer vacation is getting shorter and shorter in order to transition to an eventual all-around school year with no long vacation.

This movie will be a big hit with children in grades 1-6.

The music chosen for the movie was great.

The funny thing is that I went to a late showing to avoid being in an auditorium full of children, and most of the people in this showing were adults, and I heard many laughs from them.
