This film had so much potential but I think it crapped out. The storyline was well done and the action scenes were terrific. What does this movie in is the acting. What a poor job of casting some of the characters--I couldn't believe the main character's emotions and sometimes just laughed at the way scenes were done. The placing of Ali Larter seemed fake because she couldn't be serious either (perhaps it's because of the whipped cream incident). As for the editing, some parts crept along at a snail's pace while others months fly by with no sense of time whatsoever. The music seemed to switch from a score of "Gone in 60 Seconds" to "The Patriot" and back again in the course of a few scenes. Overall the mix was good--with the surround speakers used a lot to enhance the feel of the movie. I wouldn't recommend seeing this film, but then again find out for yourself.
