Why is it that Sony isn't putting $$$$$$ up to promote this film? Very few, if any trailers are being televised in the Milwaukee area. This film was actually very good. The only thing that really annoyed me was the over use of handheld cameras during its filming. Good storyline, plot and acting. Plus, I never looked at my watch the whole time of screening it, thats always a plus! Hopefully, word of mouth will get people to go see it.

From what I have been told, the reason is because Sony felt that because of all the abductions going on in the news lately, they decided to cut back on there advertisments.

Well thats stupid, than they should haved pushed the relese date back so that they could properly promote it. As an aside, abductions, child or otherwise, have actually been down this year compared to other years. With a lack of other sensational stuff to report, sans West Nile Virus, the abductions have been reported more on the national news.

Sony had no press junket or pre-release screenings for Trapped because of the "child kidnapping" subplot. I saw the trailer in front of Enough and quickly figured it out: Trapped was another woman-in-jeopardy programmer.
