I think this is one of the better movies ever made. The acting is great and the cinematography is beautiful. For me, this is one of the few movie that actually draw emotions(from me at least). Definitely recommend it.....

I found this movie very visually attractive. It was definitely one of the most unusual movies I'd seen at the time. I liked the way that the effects were used to create the heaven scenes.
The presentation had very soft focus (the manager had told me that the print would not focus properly) but I think the softness came from the fact that the movie was filmed in super35 and those movies at that time did not have as sharp an appearance as they typically do now.

I recall that this film was one of the earlier examples of using "digital intermediate". I doubt it used higher than 2K resolution scanning.
