Beautifully photographed coming-of-age/tortured-genius film about a child-prodigy musician and his (rather pushy) father's attempts to encourage him to exploit his talented violin playing for fame and fortune. Except for the ending, I basically liked it. The structure is a bit dull, but the characters are great and the film looks and sounds great.
