While screening this film there wasn't a single minute that I didn't want to kill myself.

The worst part is at the end... they all start singing "That's the way I like it", so the audience is going to start singing along with it, then they'll be singing it out in the lobby... other people will just think that they liked it, suckering even more people into watching this piece of [bs]

Yeah, it's a pretty bad sign when just seeing the movie poster inspires a very primal fight-or-flight response in me. I watched 6.941 masochistic minutes of this gargantuan mistake, and then decided that my life was to precious to waste on it. So I got drunk on the roof instead. Go me.

Thats funny, I just fired an employee last week (fittingly dumb and dumberer) for bringing alcohol to a sneak. I wouldn't tolorate an employee drinking on the roof also.

The radio commercial for this claims that it is "the movie you will never forget." Umm...OK.

I have no intention of seeing this POS, but hopefully it at least has that certain humor value that one might expect from a train-wreck of a movie.

It's interesting to note from the feature info forum that they didn't bother to print this on Kodak or even Fuji stock and instead went with something that's presumably cheaper. That doesn't exactly demonstrate high expectations on the part of the distributor....

Justin Guarini (sp?) was on the Today Show this morning promoting it. He was doing his best, but he did say that 1) He and Kelly were exhausted at the time the film was shot due to all the touring etc. 2) It was very hastily put together, was supposed to be released back in April. 3) "We weren't making Shawshank Redemption".

Note that it wasn't screened for critics either. [Big Grin]

You know its gonna be a stinker, when the studio has no trailers for ya to promote it! I was going to screen it last night, but I decided to wander home and watch Elimidate instead! Poked my head inside the auditorium today, and became ill seeing Kelly on the beach.

Just to re-iterate. This is one of the top five worst movies you will EVER see. There isn't even any sort of humour you would expect from such a piece of crap.

You know, you really know a movie is bad when it's seems that (based on the sometimes out of sync dialog or lip syncing) the sound editor wouldn't even go through it more than once.

You're comparing this to Lizzie Maguire? I think I would rather screen Lizzie non-stop for 24 hours than sit through this once. Paybacks, while commonly more painful than the original act, shouldn't be deadly!

I must be the only one, but the movie passed the so bad its crap category that I had such a great time mocking it. Classic camp here folks of the best kind (UNITENTIONAL). Going to watch it again!

This cinematic abortion should grace the screens at all U.S. terrorist interogation ceneters. with the torture from this we will certainly learn the whereabouts of Saddam and Bin Laden.

Daryl just called me for no reason (as he always does) and he admits he really loves this movie, but is just too embarrassed to admit it. He told me he downloaded the pirated DivX from the internet and has watched it many times. He said he also plans on buying the DVD when it comes out next week.

Daryl LOVES Justin vs Kelly or whatever the f*ck this thing is called.

My friend Leah had been dying to see this movie and you should have seen my boss' face when i agreed to preview this movie. He and all the other guys were so relieved. I just started cracking up when they all start to dance with props all the time. During that first number oh man. it was a good thing we were not with paying customers. they would have killed us. i just couldnt stop laughing. the whole time. every time the sing. i still get giddy just thinking about it. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING! not to mention how rediculous it is that its about spring break and it came out in june. that was dumb. it should have come out when it was planned to, it couldnt have been much worse....

They surrounded Justin & Kelly with mediocrity in order to make them look good, but I felt that it was unnecissary as Justin & Kelly's best scenes are when they're by themselves and not with the crowd of community theater and MTV rejects that fill out the supporting cast. I felt the songs, for the most part were forgettable, but well performed. (I think the lip-syncing issues were more the fault of the actors not doing it right(or someone not teaching them). For most movie musicals ("Chicago", "Little Shop of Horrors" are 2 that leap to mind) the actors actually sing while the cameras are rolling.)

I have to say that during the opening seconds of the movie I was thinking to myself "I know her celebrity status has declined, but I didn't know it had declined to that extent.

I thought the cinematography suited the film very well and the sound mix was good.

I'd see it again.
