flicks sure to leave consumers dissappointed. After watching a movie like this one (after Marci X) it's no wonder folks are staying home watching DVD's or TV.

It's going to be a long weekend... On the better side, we'll be able to rake in the money from kids anyway. Kids who are just returning to school or are getting ready to go back next week will be out in force to see MBD, or at least I *presume* they will....

Both "My Boss's Daughter" and "Marci X" have been on hold from the studios for over 1 1/2 years. I was running dailies for "Marci" back in 2001. And the only reason to release "Boss's Daughter" was because of the Aston/Demi thing. Aston has another film that New Line is getting ready for release "Butterfly Effect". There was around 5 different preview versions that Paramount test marketed. With boys, without boys, more Marci, less Marci....

This movie was so bad that FREE was to expensive.

I didn't think the movie was that bad (of course, it didn't strike me as being that good either). It was just one of those movies that's funny in places and is weird enough to keep me interested in what's going to happen next.

I went into the movie knowing nothing about it, having read no reviews and not remembering any trailers. I picked My Boss's Daughter because I walked up to the box office of this theatre, intending to see The Medallion and saw it was starting at 7:15 PM. I saw that My Boss's Daughter was starting at 7:00 PM and it was 6:40. That's why I picked it, since I can see "The Medallion" later. Consider "My Boss's Daughter" a random pick (much like whether I randomly put quotation marks around movie titles).

If you like strange weird comedies, this movie may be for you. I wouldn't want to see it again for a while, I don't think. There were about 30 people in this large auditorium that appears to seat just over 300 people. That's 10 percent on a Friday night 7:00 show in the only theatre auditorium in Decatur playing this movie. That's not a good sign! I don't expect this movie to be around too many weeks in my area. Nearly all the people in the audience were teenagers, and they seemed to enjoy it and get a lot of laughs from it.

I didn't hate it. Although it was poorly filmed, it did contain a bunch of laughs. I believe that I have seen one or two tv spots for this film. And that's about it in the Milwaukee area. No money of any type behind this "soon to end up in yer neighborhood video store" motion picture.
