After seeing the trailer, I wanted nothing to do with this picture. But I really laughed at this one. It was an American Pie type, no holds bar humor. They pushed their limits with the language & nudity so it will attract a lot of teenagers.
Vinnie Jones, who plays a small role as a soccer hooligan, makes it worth it with his typical type of performance. Matt Damon also has a cameo as a tattooed-pierced punk rocker who sings “Scottie doesn’t Know” (This song will be very popular when the film is released)
The only draw back is the hundred or so full frontal male nudity shot, which I think was completely unnecessary & the “Creepy Guy” on the train scene goes entirely too long. I think the critics will hate it but the teens/college kids will love it.

And it's rated 18A where I am. Imagine! Like when 8Mile came out. They don't want to do well it seems.

Sure, a silly and mindless T and A movie, but fun nonetheless. After watching Mooseport beforehand, this was refreshing.

. If it wasn't for the nudity scenes no one in their right mind would waste money on it. I laughed at one scene....the little German brother doing his Hitler skit, but even that was drawn out too long, minutes mind you. The soundtrack was awful, and the color shift between different reels was very noticeable. This movie was garbage, and should have went direct to video. Mindless entertainment??? I wouldn't even give it that compliment. [thumbsdown]

Just FYI, the little kid doing his Hitler thing, that is something you are never going to see in Germany these days - the whole 3rd Reich history is just taken too seriously to allow that sort of thing. It smacks very much of screenwriters running out of ideas. BTW, if you go from Bratislava to Berlin, you go directly, not via the "Black Forest", that is like going from New Jersey to New York via Texas.

I was the only person to sing Glory Glory and Stratford end Arising when they boys were in the pub. Ive always been a huge United fan. Its a shame the Highbury boys are doing so well and undefeated this season or the reds would have a better shot for the Premiership this year.

Overall this movie was very predictable but just as funny. I would have figured alot more sex and nudity in it but was more toned down that I thought. My favourite scene would definitely have to be the David Hasselhoff video they showed. Vinnie Jones was also great as the soccer hooligan.

Definitely! At the beginning of the film she had it down pretty good but by the end it was just as american as apple pie. The only thing that saved her was that she was unbelievable hot!

I would have still liked this movie even without all the nudity. However I am 20 yrs old and will like anything with nudity. Good movie, I loved the "SCotty doesnt know" song. Sure it is full of plot holes and the situations are completely unrealistic, but isnt that what movies are supposed to be?

Also, I was glad they dropped off the "I am a gilr" joke athe beginning, I thought they were going to run it out like the "pussy" joke in just married, I am still trying to forget that horrible movie.

Bottom Line: Good dirty mindless entertainment [thumbsup]

Err..noo.. lol. But I do agree this movie was super-fun. I couldn't help but feel victimized by the producers after watching it, but the comedy was just.. refreshing.. since no one had been able to pull of a funny crappy movie in a while.

And yes, Vinnie Jones is AWESOME!
Few honorable mentions: Matt Damon, Robots, David Hasselhoff (yes!), and lets give it up for the little Mr. T mail alert!

This wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. I did like the nudity, but there was too much sausage. The german chick was super hot and I thought the new pope scene was hilarious!

Overall a stupid funny movie that you should only see if you are in a light mood.

I enjoyed this movie, but I didn't feel that it came close to measuring up to previous comedies of this type, such as Road Trip, or the American Pie movies. As some of you have said, there were many scenes that were just so unrealistic that they couldn't be believed.

In fact, the whole premise of the movie is unbelievable. But still, some scenes were really funny.

The movie did terrible business last night, with just 4 people in the auditorium, including me. This theatre had two showings of Passion of the Christ, which were all selling out. I figured the spillover would help the attendance of the other movies, but it didn't.

It was good. But the ending kinda sucked. Very predictable, there was no point, but it was humorous. The lead character was kinda hot. Especially the robot scene, and when Matt Damon was singing the song "Scotty Doesn't Know". He's so "fine" playing a rock star and he had a nice ass. I would tap that... [sex]

Which shows us that a lot of girls don`t only fall for musicians (see Film-Yak for more on that subject), but also for guys just playing musicians.
