Dude! I actually really enjoyed this movie. Alittle slow at moments and once you think it was a stupid movie it totally turns out not to be. I guess I'm rating it higher than it should be because I didn't expect much from it. I was never much of a fan of Ethan Hawke but this movie changed my view on his acting abilities. Not to mention he is really hot and so was Olivier Martinez.

Did anyone else guess the ending by the interrogation scene at the beginning of the movie?

Not great, but pretty decent overall. Sound mix was well done.

Y-A-W-N...

I fell asleep approx. 30 minutes into this flick. WHen I gathered my senses (about 20 minutes later) I managed to stay awake, but I never managed to really get into the film.

This would make a decent rental, but I see no real purpose in it being a 'must see' on the big screen.

I figured it out when I watched the theatrical trailer.

I enjoyed watching this movie, it has athmosphere. But the story just doesn`t work. I mean, even if they didn`t think after the interrogation that Hawke`s character was the killer, wouldn`t it have been the logical thing to show the mother his picture? Just to make sure. After all, he had been found redhanded at the last crime scene.
I liked all the actors, especially Karyo, who is always cool, but not Martinez. I found his performance wretched and clumsy. Even if people in Quebec mostly have French as their first language, they still grow up pretty much bilingually, and his accent was simply way to strong to be believable.
