Brittany Murphy. Enough said. Lame plot where the insecure g/f is prodded by others to plunder into the unknow as her s/o's past. Speaking from experience, you DO NOT want to see this with an insecure s/o. It is gauranteed to start something that you really don't want to take part in... [Roll Eyes]

Holly Hunter plays a true bitch, although you don't see it until 3/4 thru the film.

I found Joyce to be the ultimate victim and really only felt bad for her. Seems like everyone else got just what the wanted/deserved.

Did I mention that Brittany Murphy is h-o-t??

Yes, I said blah. That pretty accurately describes this movie. It's been done before and it's one of the most predictable movies I have ever seen. There is no surprise, reward or payoff when the movie is over. It just unfolds and ends exactly as you will have predicted reels earlier. There is only one redeeming quality, that it is a scope film. Unfortunately the lousy sound mix pretty much cancels that out. I mean really, it's dialogue and music. How hard can that be to mix??? Even straight dialogue with nothing else going on in the track had a lousy sound quality to it. Blah!

I do wish I had seen this with an audience though. It would've been funny to sit in the back row and see what percentage of women in the audience leaned forward on the edge of their seats during the live show broadcast (next to last reel).
