Be really coooool and skip this one. 2 hours of nothingness. You would think that with all the stars and musical talent in this film, that it be viewable. Think again, this is pure.... [bs]

I actually walked out, and went to my office to rap up the end of the week paperwork. I also managed to teardown a print, before attempting to watch the end of Be Cool. Just for fun think of the pocket change each person will make from this film. I can't see it generating any revenue, and then divide that by all the talent starring in the film. Pocket change. Ugh. Pass this like bad gas!!! [thumbsdown]

Too many pointless scenes to count. Some parts I wanted to like, but the rest killed it. Great disappointment. And did anyone feel like Vince Vaughn's character kept changing from "wannabe black" as it was scripted, and Benicio del Toro as "Fenster" in "The Usual Suspects"? I kept thinking this the whole time... any thoughts?

One word...boring! At least this film had SOME redeeming value to it unlike the mega-turds Spanglish and Winn Dixie. (Translation: I didn't want to slit my wrists before the show was over, I was just extremely B O R E D ! ! ! ! !)

It WAS boring. I can see it making money this weekend just because there are absolutely NO decent movies out right now. Not for my age group anyway.

I loved the Rock (as always) and Vince Vaughn saved this film in so many scenes. Other than that, it was a big waste.

***I think they spoiled the girl's songs. Way overproduced music is just not that attractive to me. By the end, the music was awful...oh and..Steven Tyler is a bad actor.

Agreed.. This films BLOWS. With the casting, you'd think it woudl at least be tolerable.. but NOOOOOO... Hollywood has, once again, insulted the intelligence of the average movie-goer with a film chock full of big names and no freekin plot!

It's no wonder people wait until the DVD is released anymore.. [Roll Eyes]

John Travolta returns as Chili Palmer, the shylock gone movie mogul. Danny DeVito makes a cameo, as do about a dozen jokes from the first movie. That's where the similarities end.

The script is completely devoid of the cleverness that made "Get Shorty" so worthwhile. The good news is the extremely bad parts are at the beginning, and it actually gets funnier as it goes. The Rock steals every scene he's in. If that cowboy music video appears as an extra on the DVD in full length form, I am SO buying it.
