This movie is really slow and hard to follow up until 5 and a half reels.

Agreed, although there are sequences that are interesting from time to time, the fact that so many different things happen and are discussed makes it difficult to follow as a whole.

I must say though the kidney stone stuff was flat out painful.

The mini man-made lake thing was cool, as was the entire little "community". I wonder what it would've been like with a bunch of people there though.

It's ashamed Glenn Close can't act, eh?

How could you forget that??? Tyson, ya doof. They were in the frozen food section. That was one of the better parts of the movie too. Certainly better than that food poisioning stuff.

What about the Beef jerky? I had a hard time finding the right kind. Do you remember the specific brand by chance? Wasn't sure if it is really good for you or not.

Yeah Jen we're talking about the movie. Reading back on this thread it does seem like we are babbling about nothing, but this was all from the show. I'm kind of surprised actually that people are reading the comments here. Who would've thought anyone had an interest in "Heights"??? Oh well, let's test and see who else is following along...

So Ethan, how long would you say that guy/guy kiss with Jesse Bradford and whats-his-nuts was? I'd say a good 10 seconds.

I can't remember that magic brand of jerky. Maybe we should get together and watch it again, this time with Jen. [Wink]

I think she may enjoy that way too much!!! And the kiss between James Marsden and Jesse Bradford probably lasted around 10-15 seconds. The sucking noise was what did it for me.

Anyways, I hear Beef Jerky is much better from a butcher rather than pre-packaged.

Don't know, I've never had it. I have had homemade smoked venison jerky, which was quite good.

Anyway back to the movie review, I still say that situation with the company taking 8 months to deliver those items was absurd.
