Today 11:45AM, Regal Cinema World 8 in Eugene, House #4, SR-D. Attendance: 4. Mostly looked and sounded very good, no complaints.

Actor Bill Paxton is now 2 for 2 as a director. First "Frailty", now the anti-Frailty. If you're gonna make a feel-good root-for-the-underdog sports-themed movie, this is how to do it right. Well-acted, creatively photographed, pushes all the right buttons. Who woulda thunk there were so many ways to have the camera follow the flight of a golfball.

Nothing really new here, but what it does, it does very competently. I liked it a lot.

3.875 out of 5 stars from me.

I only gotten to see reel five during a DTS install test run but man I can't wait to see the entire film. I'm the kind of person that can't stand to watch TV let alone sports on TV.... but I do love to watch pro golfing. Golf is really the last true "gentlemans" professional sport left on the planet and from what I saw this film certainly does justice to the sport. I give reel five 4 out of 5 stars all by itself!! BTW: Excellent sound mix on this film too!
