Second week of release and this thing's already getting only two shows a day, sharing a small auditorium with a movie that's been out a month or more. Total attendance for this show...3.

Not a good sign, nosiree.

So the trailers start, and a very skinny Warner Bros logo appears. About thirty seconds into the trailer, the projectionist realizes what's going on and dials up scope. I guess whatever plays here in the earlier show is flat. A bit of an alignment later, and we have a nice sharp clear picture with a solid sound mix to match, though masking was a bit cropped on top. Not enough to worry about.

"Stay" is a non-linear psyche drama that will have you saying "The ending had BETTER be good" before long. And actually, it worked for me. Your mileage may vary, assuming you get a chance to see it at all.

There are some interesting quirks thrown in to the background of scenes that will make you wonder. I found looking for such things to be kind of fun.

Nice, haunting sound mix.

I liked it too. 6 patrons for a 9:40 showtime on a Saturday night. Too artsy for most moviegoers, but not for me! Loved it. Great visuals and soundtrack. Nice ending to tie things together. You have to watch the entire film, or it will leave ya hangin'. Kinda like Momento.
