Check this out if you are in the mood for something "different." It lives up to the standard review (a noir-style film set in a modern high school), and is very engaging and original. It's a bit hard to describe in more detail than that, but I can definitely recommend it. It shows what can be done with talent and a limited budget.

I liked it. The scene at the end on the football field is the best.

I liked it too. Very different, kinda David Lynchish, very interesting dialog. The Landmark theatre that I saw it it masked off about 2 feet of the image on the bottom of the screen. Be sure to pick up the Brick brochure prior to viewing the movie, it contains a glossary of dialog terms.

Brick is one of the better films I've had the honor of presenting in a very, very long time. After almost a dozen viewings and seeing various parts again and again the film consistently remains fresh reveals more. The acting is unbelievably solid across the board and pacing is top notch. Editing flow never stops, and camera placement is very enjoyable. It keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end. In this day and age (at least for me), that’s very rare.

It's movies like this that remind me how much I love what I do.
