Slightly strange yet fantastic film from german director Tom Tykwer director of 'Run Lola Run'.

It's just been released around the UK, not sure how well it will do, which is shame because it is a fantastic story. Some really nice set pieces. There is a sequence towards the end where the main charactor avoids exection becuse the onlooking crowd think he is an "angel"
- one of the best sequences of film you will see this year.

Plus great performance from Ben Whishaw as the lead and from Dustin Hoffman and Alan Rickman.

I do not remember if this film was ever released in the United States. I just watched it last night on DVD and I agree, it is a wonderful film. Michael, it was a good thing I saw the movie before I read your comments about it because you revealed the ending. Always put a "Spoiler" tag when you do that.
