Your typical cliched slasher flick. It really stunk for a storyline. Had your typical killers coming back from the dead, weird outcast girl, etc.

It kept me entertained for 90 mins. Of course...

Both kept me drooling at the screen...yep [thumbsup]

I can't say that I remember the original Black Christmas. Only film that comes to mind was Silent Night, Deadly Night...which got pulled within a few days of its opening date.

Black Christmas was a total mess. If ya wanna see tits and ass and nice looking stupid college age chicks, then this is the film to see. The movie goes absolutely no where, rehashed gore with a holiday touch to it. Andrea Martin of SCTV plays a straight roll as the head of the house. Ya won't die from laughing at her role. Its like watching Friday the 13th but with a holiday flare to it. Lots of mild gore, very dark lit scenes with stupid girls getting killed around the house. Why do slasher films always have everyone running to the attic????? On the positive side, the audio mix was excellent. Avoid this junk and it will go away. [thumbsdown]

Remake (?) of 1974 Canadian cult classic of same name. Was released in the US as "Silent Night, EVIL Night" which didn't help it. Watched a documentary on this film, apparently spawned a new genre of horror or so they said. Margot Kidder and Andrea Martin were in it.
