The trailers looked so-so until the Narnia rap scene.

We sold out one of our evening shows today almost 300 people. I was suprised to see that.

Sold out two shows, but this movie is a pile of... you get the point. Nothing fresh, nothing original. Just another money-grab that will pass in that respect. I hated it.

Junk. Judging from the age bracket that is coming to see it, it is obvious that their brains are not quite fully developed. Ya gotta hate those pre-teeners. I found the film boring, and the stuff after/during the end credits wasn't worth the price of film stock. [thumbsdown]

The best part, though, was watching a few random members of our sold-out 350 seat audience start dancing to the credits music... i fell over onto the booth floor laughing.

I thought the parts I saw were pretty funny. I really liked the scenes in the credits.

The Scary movie series did bring crowds , but Date Movie did not and neither is this .

now. However, in 30 or 40 years from now, I think it will be a lot of fun to watch. There was so much pop culture in this movie, in addition to all the references to recent movies, that could make it entertaining down the road. From Geico car insurance to Plasma Screens to Snakes on a Plane, this movie might make for interesting conversation. Besides, Darrell Hammond did a fine job as Captain Jack Swallows.

, but its the only picture we've played since "The Pursuit of Happiness" that we've actually made any money on! Pretty big crowds - mostly pre-teen to early 20's.
