An aussie film about illegal refugees landing in Australia.
A simple film about a ongoing problem for our country I suppose like the issues with Mexicans illegally moving into the US.
I liked this film being on the inside looking out.
The way the story was told and the lack on knowledge these people have about what to expect. It may not have much of an appeal to other countries as the local perception of our remote north is important to comprehend the drama.
In certain parts you could thousands of miles and not see a single living thing , these refugees are not aware of this, one wonders how many perish in the area and are never found.
A drama with a twist of comedy a bit like "the Gods Must be Crazy" in some ways.
Sadly this film has done very poorly Australia wide , it certainly deserves better. Or maybe we just don't like eating our own cooking
I give it 4 out of 5 stars
