Previewed this movie yesterday morning after I built it and it was pretty good for an Independent and Foreign film which is in French with English Subtitles. There were some funny moments that I enjoyed and the acting, well, what can I say? It was a little cheesy, but, that's to be expected. I watched this film in Auditorium #13 in SR.

The print came used from another Reel to Reel theatre and I was really happy to see that the print arrived to me in great shape with no scratches on it. Well done to the Booth Operators at the Ken Cinema. [thumbsup]

Anyway, I would rate this film 3.5 Stars out of 5 due to the funny aspects of this particular movie.

I saw this film this past weekend at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Nice 40~ foot screen, SR-D, historic theater. Presentation was FLAWLESS. Image was super steady, no scratches, extremely little dirt, splices were fantastic. I really don't believe the commercial multiplex can ever deliver this kind of quality show. I know mine is crap comparatively. Five out of five for presentation.

As for the movie, it clearly shoots for a vintage look and feel, and despite some anachronisms, really hits the nail on the head. The one underwater scene looks modern and crummy, but the rest of it genuinely looks vintage in a good way. The characters are well acted, and Dujardin marks himself as the new Sellers of movie spies. The movie itself gets a solid four out of five.
