CINEMA: Megaplex 17 at Jordan Commons, Sandy, UT
AUDITORIUM: 14
PRESENTATION: Dolby Digital Cinema DLP/THX
PRESENTATION PROBLEMS: None [Cool]
RATING: Two and one half stars (out of four)

If things had gone as planned, I would have been watching Harry Potter in this auditorium right now. I guess as a consolation, I got the new Harry Potter trailer. OOOH. Cool.

THE PLOT: The new chick on campus goes after the hottie that none of the other girls can get to put out. Wackiness ensues.

I laugh a little every time I hear the name Bella Swan. They couldn't have been more blatant if they'd literally named her "Romance Novel". And when Vampire Boy shows what he looks like in the sun...HA HA HA HA HA HA! I about fell out of my seat laughing. We're living in a material world, and these are material girls.

It's a pretty thin screenplay that probably came from a pretty thin book, but it's well shot and has a great soundtrack. If it weren't for that, this wouldn't be much more substantial than the Highlander TV series.
