Being a fan of Mike Judge and also Jason Bateman since he was on Arrested Development, went to see this. It's moderately amusing at best, kind of smells like straight-to-DVD, but quirky enough to hold my interest. I give it a generous 2.5 out of 5 stars. Will fade from theaters very quickly.
There were a half dozen or so digital audio glitches. I'm guessing DTS since some of the trailers played in analog. The sound either repeated or skipped forward, maybe 1/4 second each time, like it was trying to re-sync. And the image was very unsteady sometimes.

I noticed that too on our print. Not just the usual high speed printing bounce, but more like a bounce and weave like a boxer.

"Bobbing and weaving" is an apt description of what I was seeing. I wonder if the poor print quality had anything to do with the audio glitches.

We use Dolby Digital (different I know), and according to those who watched it, they didn't hear any problems. But then again, none of them are projectionists either . . .

Don't give this film too-hard a a time guys. It bears the dubious distinctinon of being the only non-DI film playing in our theatre right now.
Unfortunately, this film doesn't benefit at all from this attribute.
