The first twenty minutes or so were ok, nothing great, but I laughed often enough that if it continued on that level for the entire feature it would've been passable (but forgettable) brainless rom-com fare. But then it just got really boring until about the time of the climax, an occasional chuckle, I didn't care about the characters, just not good.

Presentation was fine aside from the first few bars of the Columbia Pictures logo music cue being played at the end of the attached trailer (which was not the final trailer) and being gone from the beginning of the actual feature. Also, I guess I don't get to an AMC theatre all that often, they leave the green bands on now? Much nicer than chopping them off!

However, none of that is really why I decided to write a review here. My date and I had our seats, and were reasonably early, 20 minutes or so. I went out to get some concessions, got up to the point where I was second in line, and the girl behind the counter after giving the gentleman in front of me his drink, asked if we (everybody in the line I was in) would move over to the next line, and with that she walked away. I ended up being 3rd or 4th in that new line, which that alone wasn't horrible, I had enough time, etc, but that girl was nowhere to be seen. The guy ahead of me in the original line only had half of his order and had to call over an employee to give him his popcorn. I could hear the employees in concession asking where "she" was ... nobody knew. So either she just walked off the job, or she had to run to the bathroom ... or ... I don't know?

I suspect the employee's little itty bitty teeny tiny brain overheated and she had to go "out of service" until it cooled off.

That explains why the opening notes of the logo music were missing from our (used) print. $%&@#!

I thought the movie was OK, the story was kind of dumb but it was "all right." My wife felt about the same. It gets an extra point for Jennifer Aniston, she is always fun to watch and doesn't disappoint in this show.

2.75 out of 5 stars from me.
