I have not seen RESIDENT EVIL:AFTERLIFE and would like to know if the movie and the 3-D is good before I consider seeing it. The movie was the highest grossing film during it's opening weekend but I am puzzled no one here has posted a review yet.

In short I found this to be the most boring of the RE films so far. The movies about Zombies! Would help if there were some Zombies in this one. Sure they are there for about all of 10 minutes, but its a movie franchise based on surviving and killing Zombies. Everything was dull and lifeless. Characters were not good, the new additions were there for no reason other then to introduce Chris Redfield who is a huge part of the Universe and is regulated to being pretty much worthless. The 3D is ok, but it really is nothing special at all.

Easily the most pointless sequel i've ever had the displeasure to watch.
The concept of the Resident evil series is great, but they don't do anything with it.
I don't want to spoil anything in case you decide to see it, but you'll know exactly what im talking about if you do.
The whole film could have been done in less than 15 minutes, but for some reason was made into a full feature film. -_-
And the 3-D wasn't impressive at all.
I honestly feel like I've seen conversions that had more depth.
Just a good example of how off and on 3D can be, even with good cameras!

I actually didn't mind this entry in the Resident Evil films - I thought though "2" sucked donkeyballs and the worst in my opinion. I thought the 3D worked to good effect, but the IMAX-Digital glasses produced alot of glare and as a result was extremely distracting.

I thought this was pretty solid, strictly for what it is. Afterlife is the stand out (no pun intended) in the series for me the action scenes were pretty slick and I loved the Axe Man sequence.
