Best Actress for Rachel McAdams, the best performance so far this year. Outstanding considering the movie sort of begins to kind of messes up near the end , she even shows off her ass.

And Ford, settle in as a suppporting actor, that is were your strength is right now. No more leads, no more action. Just make simple supporting acting roles work.

I didn't fall for the love story at all, this was the worst part, it should of ended with you leaving your man..Morning Glory, good movie, McAdams can really hold her own against Keaton/Ford.

**** (It's not anything special, but McAdams makes it really good)

(I think this movie will play for a while in theaters as word of mouth might be good)

Harrison does do comedy well. Working Girl is a prime example.

I don't agree he's only good for supporting now though. There are plenty of non-action roles he would be perfect in, just not ones where he plays second billing to Brendan Fraser. This role is a good career move for him. I love the tongue in cheek line when responding to request he co-hosts the morning TV show. His response: "After the career I've had???...Hmmmmppphhh!"

More comedy please, Mr. Ford...oh, but no more Indiana Jones movies.

My comments are just. Harrison Ford is no longer relevant. His latest movies have FLOPPED. Aside from IJ4, everything has done poorly. His last movie that did well was "What Lies Beneath"

Why he was good in this, he was secondary. He barely has range and his face is badly weather beaten, he looks tired and his career is exacltly the character he plays.

Morning Glory works so well because of Rachel McAdams, take her out of the picture and you have a mega flop...

Just and FYI...Extrodinary Measures made $11 million, Crossing Over made it to 42 screens.

Dumb? Excuse me....check out his last few films except of IJ4...no of them have made any significant money. E Measures made 11million and it cost $32...HIS SALARY USED TO BE $20million.

K19 cost 80, it made 37
Hollywood Homicide cost 75, it madde 30
Crossing Over was on 42 screens only

His only decent showing was Firewall and IJ4 but IJ4 is a one-off.

He is no longer relevant....That is why he was second billed for Morning Glory as he plays a part that reflects his current career.

So what you're really saying is that he's no longer a bankable actor, OK...that I can agree with, but for you to say that one of the most successful and greatest actors of the 20th century is now 'irrelevant' just because movies he's in don't make money is unkind to him and his legacy.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. His role in Morning Glory is not the starring role.

Respect is something that shouldn't disappear along with box office grosses...and I have the greatest respect for Harrison Ford.

Two of the above comments are about MORNING GLORY. The rest of them discussing various things about Harrison Ford, mainly in other pictures.
I see in this morning's news that it grossed only $9.6m over the weekend. Looks like none of the cast is particularly relevant at the boxoffice. Maybe a better script would have helped.

The problem with the film was not a Harrison Ford issue. It was a Final Cut issue between the Director Wayne Kramer and Harvey Weinstein. Kramer had Final Cut and turned in a 140 minute film. Harvey want a shorter cut and recut the film to 120 minutes without the director. Harvey held the films release and threated to go straight to DVD with it. Those are the facts on the 42 screen release , so that it showed it played in theatres for contracts.

I'm still interested in seeing "Morning Glory".

I liked "Morning Glory", its funny at times and sweet at others. As for Harrison, he is still relevant. Will always be relevant, there's a reason that when he showed up at Comic Con and said all of maybe 5 words he got probably the biggest response out of anyone. You also have to remember that the man is almost 70. Look out for Jon Favreau's trailer for Cowboys & Aliens trailer coming out this week. Ford and Craig fighting aliens in the old west. Should be fun.

Morning Glory gets a solid 3.5/5 [thumbsup]
