Nice movie, makes a very enjoyable two hours. Reminds me a lot of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
The story pretty much runs on rails; you know what's going to happen every step of the way and there aren't any surprises. But it doesn't really matter.
The absolute best character in the movie is "papa". Everyone knows a few guys who are exactly like him. "Just because I asked for a discount doesn't mean I'm poor. I'm thrifty."
Worth seeing.

Totally agree. I saw this about a month ago. Worth seeing.
I felt like it was more like a Bollywood movie than it was a Helen Mirren film.
I wish more movies like this were made.

well apparently we are getting a sequel to the Best Marigold Hotel next March.
I must admit I really enjoyed this movie - a little sparse on plot and cliched here and there... but I just let the charm envelop me.
have seen it twice!
