From what I understand, the studios are having a hard time figuring out why millennials and young adults and not going to the movies like they did in the past. Well here is a movie that might give them ideas for trying to get them into the theater in the future.
I have never seen a crowd of this age glued to the screen, there were some funny moments as well as some pretty creepy moments but overall the movie was not scary. The movie was damn good for a movie that only shows a computer screen and some Skype/Facebook/YouTube windows for the whole film. There is a whole bunch of text messaging that you have to follow and who meet there characters via Skype.
At the end there was a thunderous applause from this teen crowd which is rare to see in the modern era. This movie should have some legs.
