CINEMA: Cinemark Movies 12, Ames, IA
AUDITORIUM: 7
PRESENTATION: Cinemark Recline-o-Vision in a slope auditorium with mystery meat digital
PRESENTATION PROBLEMS: Fell asleep for an undermined amount of time
RATING: Three stars (out of four)
THE PLOT: Mom might be alive! Hyundai Konas for everyone! Wackiness ensues.
I probably should have re-watched the first one again because I was all sorts of lost, and falling asleep didn't help matters. Paying closer attention to the last Captain America movie apparently also would have been helpful. But I still found it enjoyable, funny, and well paced.

first half was entertaining but then it sort of went on auto pilot, no real surprises and with some three plots elements interweaving that I all became rather numb to it all.
C+

I liked it more than most Marvel movies because it was finally about something besides mass destruction, didn't have 127 characters to keep track of, and I liked the humor.
The mid-credits scene is pretty cool -- on some nights I've heard a collective "gasp" from the audience at the end of it, along with a few "Whaaaaa..?" from people who didn't see the last Avengers movie and thus didn't get it.
