I semi liked this film. At AMC Metreon SF CA Dolby Cinema Lucky #13 1PM showing Sept 21 2018. Very slow in places. Looked like It would have been good in 3D. The best part was the Dolby Atmos® surround mix with all the sounds of the clocks and effects coming from the ceiling, back and corner sides. A great job with deep heavy base. The two Dolby® Cinema projectors stayed lit nice and bright. We liked seeing the trailers for Goosebumps #2 coming Oct 12. This looks like a way better film then the dull Clock movie.

I did a couple of studio screenings of "The House With A Clock In Its' Walls"
a couple of months ago and actually got to sit and watch it, which I rarely do.
(Sometimes I feel I should get paid extra if they actually want me to WATCH
a movie- - but that's a topic for another forum)

But I enjoyed sitting through this one, and as Terry mentions, some scenes
make the most of the ATMOS sound mix.

Until I saw the movie, I had this odd feeling that I'd shown it before, but I was
confusing it with a British documentary from a few years ago about getting rid
of a rodent problem at Big Ben called: "The Clock With A Mouse In Its' Halls"

Went to see this on a whim last night, pretty cute movie. Wish I could've seen it in Atmos after seeing these comments though

while I had had the chance to enjoy the movie in Dolby Cinema/Atmos, I went with the IMAX-digital version that had the Michael Jackson Thriller 3D music video prior to the feature - and boy was the complete package a trip and a half.

as to 'House' I like Jack and Cate's performances a lot more than I thought would, and technically Eli Roth brought out the intensity with fun yet intense special effects and action set pieces.
