What can I say, it's the Coen Brothers, it makes no sense. It's violent, it's nihilistic. The first four episodes are short stories, the last two are novellas, and it gets very long.
The movie is beautiful to look at. The costumes and make up are first rate, the cinematography, lighting, set and scenic design all deserve at least award nominations.
I saw it on Netflix. It is big screen cinema worthy, but not worth $17 or whatever tickets cost around here, plus actually having to leave the house.

the cinematography depicted in the Tom Wait's story is simply gorgeous and is meant to be witnessed on the largest screen possible.
