I expected this to be a standard-issue chick flick with a Christmas theme and that's what it is. It's a nice story but unlike most chick flicks where you know how it's going to end five minutes into the movie, this one will surprise you. I absolutely did not see that coming.

The filmmakers spend quite a bit of time pushing their viewpoint on immigration and Brexit, but it all kind of fits into the overall theme of the movie so that's not really a negaive.

It's a pretty good movie, and I quite enjoyed it.
