Swank Motion Pictures is the clearing house for most non theatrical repertory stuff.

Swank Motion Pictures is the general clearing house for most non-theatrical run 35MM repertory stuff. However they do have custody of the new Raiders & Top Gun prints.

Swank has custody of the new prints of 'Raider' and 'Top Gun?' I just showed the new print of 'Top Gun' and I don't go through Swank, as we are a theatre and advertise in the papers and such.The best approach I have had in contacting studios was to just call their main switch board and tell them what you want, they generally have (eventually) put me through to the correct person. Sometimes you get bounced around a bit, but eventually you will land in the right spot.
In most cases your contact will depend on your area. Being in Kansas City most of my contacts are in the Dallas offices for their respective studios for instance.

My understanding is that Swank handles primarily 16mm prints. If you book 35mm from them, it usually gets shipped out of TES or ETS or wherever the theatrical prints (usually the same prints) get shipped from. I've never personally dealt with 35mm booked through Swank; their 16mm prints are usually pretty good and the company is decent to deal with, but their prices are sky-high.

Swank has always been high priced.We rented from them back when I was in college and in all but one case, I always got new prints. Some of our titles were up to 10 years old!
