Our theatre isn't the biggest, 8 screens, but we're consistently one of the best performing in the area. Our showtimes are tight so we're looking for something that can hold alot of garbage and won't burn out easily.
Check with Manu-Tech. They make GREAT back back blowers and have developed a line of Back-Vacs as well. I've had 2 of the blowers for 4 years now cleaning a 16-plex daily and I have just this month replaced the motors in them. The motors would have held up fine I feel, if we had used a heavier duty (14gauge) drop cord. Anyway, the local vacuum repair shop installed new motors (complete) for $35 each, so I couldn't beat the price. I think the blowers are around $400, but they have held up very well under use in our facility. Pick up any issue of Box Office mag. and you'll see their ad...
A central vacuum system is a much better idea.------------------
