I have a friend that was offered a job at another theatre she used to be the GM at. The theatre has since changed hands, so I was asked to find some information about the chain that currently owns it "Phoenix Theatres". A quick look at the exhibitors on the Film Journal website turned up nothing (can't check the paper version, someone forgot to renew the subscription).
I am looking for the information like screen count, what states it operates in, executive officers, and any other facts.

There is a Phoenix Theatres that was started in January by a couple of execs from Regal. They are snagging up a bunch of theaters being closed by other chains in their bankruptcy problems.Of course, you asked this question on the day I didn't bring my usual box of paperwork in with me. 
Try going to www.moreover.com and do a search for "Phoenix Theatres Worldwide" (or Theaters?). They recently acquired a theater somewhere and I remember seeing an article about it there.
If you're talking about the independent Phoenix Theatres 10 that reopened on Friday in Detroit, well ... they're independent. And I worked all weekend, so I haven't been there yet.

The Worldgate Center in Herndon is the Regal people.The article was in the Washington Post, April 5. Curtains Drawn on Theater Plans

Adam is right, Pheonix Theatres is the brainchild of two former Regal execs who are taking over some of the theatres dumped by the big chains in the wake of their Chapter 11 difficulties. There was an article about them in one of the trade publications recently. I believe in either the current issue of Film Journal International or maybe last month's issue.
