General Manager Position Available Immediately:

63 screen theatre circuit in San Antonio, Texas has an immediate need for a
general manager. Duties would include close supervision of operations,
supervision of the advertising and marketing department,
purchasing/concession department, and accounting department. Also must have
the ability to communicate with the booking department.

The potential candidate must be service oriented, very conscientious of theatre
cleanliness, appearance, and maintenance. Should be
able to guide and give input to the advertising and marketing effort, and
must be promotion oriented. The candidate must be highly energetic, a
self-starter, and have demonstrated the ability to delegate and manage. He
must be able to handle multi-projects concurrently, inspire a sense of
urgency and responsibility to his employees, and subscribe to the philosophy
that "time is of the essence".

The candidate must possess strong leadership and communication skills, the
ability to hire, organize, and motivate his managers and other staff, and be
able to contribute new ideas along with the ability to implement them
expeditiously. A degree from an accredited university is preferred.

The circuit currently includes 3 14-screen stadium seating theatres, an
8-screen and a 9-screen theatre, and a 4-screen drive-in theatre. The
candidate would report directly to the owner of the theatres.

I used to work for ACT III right after they bought the Santikos Chain. Has Santikos reacquired the theatres from Regal?
