This is aimed mainly at Canada but can just as easily be applied to any nation.

In the USA Pearl Harbor is rated PG-13. In Canada the picture's rating varies from province to province: AA in Ontario, 14A in British Columbia, PG in Alberta, G with a "Not for Young Children" warning in Quebec. AA and 14A both mean anyone under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Would the more restrictive ratings mean a lesser turnout for Pearl Harbor?

I don't think so, in fact here in Pennsylvania were getting a lot of families coming together anyway. I can't see to many Canadian children under 14 coming by themselves because, well lets face it, they're still kinda young and it IS about a problem the United States and not Canada faced. I don't think it will affect it too bad because Canada also has a very low population in comparison to the United States as well. Everything should balance out.

Hey Canadians just two quick questions if you don't mind: 1. When did the crown declare war on Japan, thus bringing you guys in? 2. Did Canadians living in British Columbia fear invasion just as much as our people did in the Pacific states?

For the history books the crown did not make Canada declare war
The second world war was the first war that Canada's Parliment declared war on its own.
It declared war on the Axis 14 days after Great Brittian in Sept39.
At that point we were in effect at war with all of Germany's allies.
The initial Japanese aggression in Asia against colonies in China HongKong caused many Canadian and Australian casualties
A large group of the POW's liberated from Japan were Canadians and Australians at the end of the War
