Any ideas on a ballpark figure for a manager starting out at a 6 plex in central florida? Thanks.

Average base salary should be around 23,000 from my experience.

The managers salary is something that will vary so much with so many factors:where the theatre is.
how well attended it is.
if it is discount.
if it is a small/large chain or independent.
whether you will get bonuses and commissions.
how much experience you have.
what your responsibilities will be.
these are just what I can think of off the top of my head. Manager salaries can vary widely.

Federated is the chain. This location is first run and as far as i know the only theater within abotu a 30 mile radius. The places looks quite clean, well maintained and was rather busy when I was there.

Average starting pay in MN was $900 every two weeks for new managers for a traditonal 6plex theatre with a 1-3% concession commision yearly & an extra paycheck as a xmas bonus.

I was wondering was that concession bonus based on gross or net sales. It seems that a 6 plex should be doing 200,000-400,000 per year in concession sales. Which would mean that the manager would get a 2000-12,000 bonus, which seems a bit much for a manager. But sounds like a good place to work.

I think my former theatre started at around $10-12 per hour, plus 1-2% concession commission.....and an x-mas bonus if the owner liked them.------------------
