He is a film producer for films like Baraka.

Thanks ive emailed them and here's Hoping.

Also Bernard if you fancy a weekend in York ive got my 70mm Instalation premier on the 13th of October with Lawrence of Arabia or on the 3rd of Nov ive got Spartacus. The next film on the 8th of Dec is TBC, My Fair Lady is a possible.

As much as I would like to see LOA on the 13th in your splendid cinema, I will be away on holiday. But thank you for telling me about your exciting launch with 70mm, and I wish you well on the day.

When LOA was first released, I did a presentation with a silhouette of Lawrence onto the curtains during the overture for one minute before the censor certificate. In the trailer there was a static shot of 20 feet which I removed and looped to run on No 2 projector. Now this piece of silhouette was on a blue background, so we added a blue gelatine, and flooded the curtains in blue from the lighting gantry in front of the circle. All you could see but clearly was the silhouette side view of Lawrence’s head with the headgear blowing in the wind.

We did the same thing for the presentation of War And Peace with the 1812 overture, flames being projected onto the curtains.

Now audiences are lucky if they get a good trivia question in the advertising slides.
