I'm planning to build a new 3 or 4 plex in a town I already own a single screen in. How many X over what I'm doing now can I expect?

For the first few weeks you'll probably have people just flocking to see the new place. After that, it all depends on how you set up your bookings and the quality of each theater's presentation is.

There are SO many factors involved here. I have been educating myself on this aspect of our industry. You need to look at a 25 mile radius around the area you are building. Population, entertainment habits, and income levels all play into the demographics of the area. You would probably need to do a feasibilty study for the area. How does your single screen do?

Do you see the same customers every week or do you see a rotation of customers based on the type of movie you had? If it's the latter, your customers might support the addition of a few screens.
