I work for a small theatre serving our local military community. We are based overseas.

I'm looking for contact information for the production/distribution companies that can provide more then the standard posters for promoting our movies.

I know Disney is big into promotionals and the kids love it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Jerry

Jerry, I believe you have to handle all that stuff thru AAFES.

Or is this an off-base theatre? (you didn't specify)

Its an AAFES theatre. But if you have ever worked for them, you should know its better to be a customer then an employee.

We get posters from them, but on occassion, we would like to do more. If we have to buy it, then so be it. Its hard enough getting people in the theatre when they can see the show in a commercial theatre with better sound, presentation, seating and before we get it.

I used to do some projectionist work when i was stationed in Australia. I could get all kinds of Promotional items for shows. Cardboard cut outs, wall hangings, stickers - you name it. We want to do more to get the customer to come to our shows. One of them is to get promotional items and/or press kits. We are down the line for prints, but its worth a try.

Disney was allways good for stuff, which is what I'm mostly interested in. But it doesn't hurt to know more.
