Does anyone know when and where Dolby will be having thier training seminar?

You just missed it. [Frown]

Dolby offered a training seminar earlier this month in San Francisco. The one before that was in October (Boston).

I don't understand how this is a "Showest question." The title of this thread seems wrong. If you will be attending ShoWest you should visit the Dolby booth and ask them to add you to the invite list for the upcoming training seminars.

I posted information here on Film-Tech for the last two seminars. I'll continue to do that as long as I remain on the invite list.

Manny, Dolby does indeed have some product familiarization and basic product training (more like demonstrations and slide presentations) for their product line at ShoWest on occasion. It isn't the same as the hands-on 'Dolby School' training they do on the east and west coasts.

Generally Dolby and DTS do a short 1/2 day seminar at ShoWest. Most attendees of these short meetings are dealers with interested clients.

Shows how much *I* know!

So...does anybody know where/when?
