We are not exactly filling all the seats. Very dissapointing response to the product that's out there this Easter. This week's releases are not producing the customary numbers. Was this all that the distribs could give us??? Even last week's releases are dieing fast.

This weekend's grosses will be out tomorrow, but I think this has been a big bust to date. How about you???

I agree it's mostly crap, but Passion is doing better than it has the last couple of weeks.Being 30 minutes from the real ALAMO and 30 minutes from where it was filmed has helped some but it's still a bust considering. I was wondering how "The Alamo" would open outside of Texas.

Movie business attendance has always been rollercoaster in nature but it seems in the past few years the highs are higher and the lows are lower and more extended. Another disturbing trend has been the bunching factor: one weekend everything does business (such as last weekend April 2nd) and the following weekend you cannot give tickets away no matter what you are playing. This Easter weekend seems to be one of those where everything (other than Passion) is dead in the water.

It is no wonder that lenders have apoplexy whenever you want to borrow money for the theatre business.

In my neck of the woods, Indiana, Easter wkend has never been a big movie going wkend. And Easter day, is always a total washout.
