At a sold out DAY AFTER TOMORROW show, I noticed the patrons exiting holding flyers. I got a hold of one and if was about global warming and ways you can stop it. I found the individuals handing them out and escorted them of the building.
The next couple shows, they were out front handing them out. Sure enough they were back again today and tried the same thing. They stayed outside this time.
Last time I had this happen was for BLACK HAWK DOWN.
Anyone else having this happen to them?

No problems of that sort here, but we were warned about such a situation happening here.

I had these at my theatre, in fact my theatre was listed on their "to visit" theatres. I actually even received an e-mail from corporate informining this would happen. I just kinda hate that we have to pick up after them. Damn flyers!

I remember going out to my car once when I was leaving the mall only to find one of my windshield wipers snapped off and a flyer for some baby sitting service tucked under the other one.

Back when I went to see "Wargames" on the way out I got a flyer claiming that some of the things in the movie could really happen. I thought it was interesting, do theatre owners frown upon this sort of thing? In the 10 years I worked at various theatres I never saw this sort of thing again, though when "Patch Adams" opened there was a lady in the lobby handing out flyers about the real organization in the movie, she had prior permission to be there.
