I am going to have to store some seats for a period of time and am wondering if there's anything special I can do to keep out mice, mildew, etc.

These seats are only a couple of years old so we need to keep them in good shape.

Surround them in mouse bait. Heck sprinkle mouse bait all over the stacked seats.

If you can stack them so that they are off the floor (and away from walls if possible), by at least a foot, on metal (not wood) shelving you'll have much better luck too.

If there's already a known rodent problem, you could always sacrifice something else you know they'll go for first, like a bag of corn. At least until you can get someone in to take care of them.

As for mildew, etc. a dehumidifier wouldn't hurt... although it's something that someone would have to remember to empty.

Mouse bait will kill them, but you may have the odor of rotting carcasses. Feeding them corn just attracts more, and helps them thrive and reproduce. Most dehumidifiers can drain into a sewer if located above the sewer level. If you cannot control the storage conditions to keep them dry, wrap each seat in a large heavy duty poly bag and include some dessicant (silica gel) or molecular sieves.
