MacDonalds and Burger King do it, has anyone tried it in the cinema business? The advantages that I see are: more customers buying because they perceive a better value (I'm talking a 20 oz cup for $3) and shorter lines because all the concession staff has to do is hand them a cup.

The obvious problem is abuse of the system. The big difference between the theater and the fast food joint is that they are with us a lot longer.

Let me know what you think, especially if you know of someone who has tried this.
