I lived in that area for awhile and remember seeing it, I think a photographer had a studio there at the time. Story I got was the guy who owned it got mad at the library for loaning movies and claimed he couldn't compete and closed the theater.

I might be wrong, but I don't think the Watts ever closed.

They had a fire in the concession stand a few years back, but I think that only slowed them down for a few months.

I'm going to Osage tomorrow, so I'll see what I can find out.
