Hi Folks:
Does anyone still manufacture metal backed seats? Just curious.
Thanks,
Mike

I don't think so, and if you have them, there are very good reaons why not:
1. paint & upkeep
2. bending and breakage at top mounting screw.

Hi Louis:
Thanks for the information. I checked out Irwin or American seating (I can't remember which) about 5 years ago and they were still offering the metal backed seet.
I am a traditionalist and have always liked the metal backed seats. Wood backed are also nice but I dislike the plastic backed ones.

See if Irwin still makes "the Comet;" which is a metal backed seats. We sell them, but I, personally, have never sold one. (Sure take 'em out, though.) Louis
