It's with great remorse that I inform our community that Glenn Terrell (National Amusements) had passed away today at 1 pm. Glenn went in for surgery on Friday (brain cancer tumor) and never regained consciousness. I've known Glenn for many years since joining RCA Service and before that with Redstone Theaters. Sad day for myself and many others.

The president and vice president of USL, Inc., Jack and Felicia Cashin, and myself send our thoughts and prayers to Glenns family. I have known Glenn for many many years and I know that Jack and Felicia have known him longer. It is with great saddness that I type this.

Thats terrible news and my thoughts go out to the family.

I always felt that National Amusements had the nicest booths I ever worked in, and really did the best out of any other circuit I have personally seen to do things right even though it may have costs more money. I always thought they were a first class operation and I am know that Mr. Terrell had a big part in that.

This is very sad to hear. He was very ill but everyone thought he had a chance at a recovery and would at the very least, have time to get his affairs in order.

I bet he would have liked to arrange everything personally as he was a very organized, meticulous and hard working guy.

He took time out from a very busy schedule a few months back when the ICTA was in Boston, to take a few of us on a drive to Plymouth Rock.

He was a completely honorable man and he will be missed by all. My condolences to his family.

I started out in this industry 11 years ago now, when I was 20, and my very first day in a booth, I met Glenn (together with Jon Kidder and Mark Przybylski). This was in Haedo, Argentina. Glenn took me with him to every installation in South America after that. We worked together in Moscow and we even spent together his last birthday is Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has been my mentor and he has always looked out for me.
Words cannot describe my sadness or the admiration that I felt for him. He was a "straight shooter" and he will be missed.

Glenn was truly a sharp guy. I remember our last conversation; shop talk and opinions on some industry issues...rest in peace.

Glenn was always honorable and did the best job he could at everything. Very organized! The best father in the world.

He was my friend.

This is sad news indeed. My last meeting with Glenn was at a friend's funeral...Vince Bland...tis been a very sad set of months. [Frown]
